Calm Before the Storm
“This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." Genesis 9:12-16
Old Meets New
Old times. The high school days with the Wu's and the kids. And the new. New, forward looking, journeys with Elaine. I'm extremely thankful for the last few days, spending time with people who mean so much to me.
Time really does fly, with a blink of an eye, years fly by before us. People change, places change, what's before us is always changing, but our God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrrow.
Those journeys that God put us on a few years back has molded us into who He wants us to be today, and the journeys that are to come will all make sense in some years time when we look back and reflect.
Oh, these aren't my kids.
