Sunshine. Lots of sunshine. I loved my time at Portugal, not only was it warm, it was also relaxing. Spending a couple of days just sitting by the beach, witnessing unbelievable sunsets, gulping down cups of orange juice, all while reading a book. I would say this trip was probably the most relaxing out of all my travels. You'll see what I mean in the photos.
Paris Backyard
As I gazed out the window, the rays of the setting sun illuminated my room, and I thought to myself, "why not take a walk." So I did.
I grabbed my coat, my trusty Fuji X-T1 and just the XF 23mm f/1.4 lens. Man, do I miss the simplicity of shooting with just one fixed lens. Makes you think, and see. Slows you down. So out I went, strolling around my apartment, enjoying yet another beautiful sunset. And 30 minutes later, was back in my room. Well worth it.
Tomorrow I'm off to Morocco, Africa.
Budapest & Vienna
You travel, you see things. The more I travel Europe, the more everything begins to look the same. It's only when I stop being a tourist, and slowly take in the city, then I see and experience the uniqueness of each place and culture. A couple of weeks ago I visited Budapest and Vienna, located in Hungary and Austria, respectively.
Very quickly I noticed that the cost of living in Budapest is a step below that of other cities around Europe, making it the perfect place to splurge on food and desserts. Throughout my time here, we visited several different cafes, all with its own unique feel. We also hit up places such as Buda-Castle, Széchenyi thermal baths, and Szentendre.
I also stopped by Vienna for a day and a half. I definitely would have liked more time to explore the city, but I guess that'll have to wait till next time...whenever that will be :)

Really not much to say. St. Patty's in Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Galway.
Enjoy.
Lake Bled - Slovenia
As I was planning my roadtrip, I looked on the map of Europe and Slovenia didn't seem too far. But what was in Slovenia? A quick Google search led me to Lake Bled. Arriving late in the afternoon, we got to stroll down by the lake but time was limited. So the next morning I woke up at 5am to catch the sunrise. The highlight was definitely my hike up to the top of the hill, giving a completely different perspective of the lake. The combination of the morning sun, the lake, the island in the middle and the alps in the background made this scene absolutely unforgettable. After spending a good hour up top, I came down to grab more shots of the water, and wow, the water was like a mirror, reflecting light like nothing I've witnessed before.
