You know the feeling of familiarity? When you haven't done something or been somewhere in ages, but once you get back at it, it was like you never left - everything is routine. It was July of 2012 when I packed my bags leaving Taipei for good. Every subsequent visit has been only temporary, but everything feels routine. Siting in the same chairs, navigating the intricate malls without much thought, buying beef noodles and breakfast from the same stands. Taipei feels familiar, and it will always be one of my homes.
Adventures over the last few days has helped me appreciate just how beautiful Taiwan truly is.
